Amazon is seeking a Senior RF Engineer for the LEO initiative to develop electronic hardware test setups for satellite payloads. You'll work closely with engineering teams and require extensive experience in RF and communications hardware.
You have extensive experience in RF engineering, particularly in the development and testing of communications hardware. You are skilled in building and modifying test setups, and you thrive in hands-on roles that require collaboration with engineering teams. Your background includes supporting full development cycles of RF and space hardware, ensuring that you are well-versed in prototyping and qualification procedures. You are responsive and flexible, able to adapt to the fast-paced environment of satellite technology development. You have a strong understanding of lab processes and are capable of implementing and optimizing RF lab setups.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing various electronic hardware test setups in the Payload Integration and Test lab as well as in the field. You will work from schematics and diagrams to build bench-top and rack-mounted test setups. Your responsibilities will include building and modifying custom test harnesses and fixtures to support payload hardware tests. You will perform operational tests and system check-outs, ensuring that all setups function correctly. Additionally, you will assist in developing lab processes and equipment scheduling, contributing to the overall efficiency of the testing environment. You will implement and validate RF lab setups that include antennas and measurement equipment, configuring test equipment for automated operations.
