Key job responsibilities
β’ Data Management & Analysis: Our ideal candidate will take command of comprehensive data management responsibilities, expertly crafting SQL queries and macros while implementing VBA code solutions. You'll be responsible for developing clear, actionable data visualizations that provide immediate business insights. Your role involves handling and analyzing extensive datasets using various platforms including Excel and SQL, while maintaining robust data management systems that ensure data integrity and accessibility.
β’ Reporting Excellence: You will manage the design and implementation of sophisticated reporting solutions that empower stakeholders to make informed business decisions. This includes taking full ownership of reporting processes, maintaining strong attention to accuracy and timeliness, and demonstrating strong customer focus when addressing data discrepancies. Your reporting will translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business strategy.
β’ KPI Development & Monitoring: In this role, you'll be responsible for establishing and managing crucial key performance indicators that shape our business direction. This encompasses monitoring existing metrics while developing new measurements as business needs evolve. You'll work closely with internal teams to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring our systems and metrics remain aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.
A day in the life
- Minimum 2 years of quantitative analysis experience
- β’ Strong technical expertise in SQL query writing and optimization
- β’ Advanced Excel skills including macros, pivot tables, and complex data manipulation
- β’ Experience creating comprehensive reports and dynamic visualizations
- β’ Hands-on experience with data modeling and data warehouse management
- β’ Proven track record of translating business requirements into data solutions
- β’ Experience gathering and documenting technical requirements
- β’ Demonstrated success in implementing data-driven insights
- β’ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- β’ Experience handling complex datasets and data management systems- β’ Experience with Python, and other data science tools.
- β’ Proficiency in business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- β’ Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
