What you'll do

As a Senior Components Engineer at Relativity, you will be responsible for designing and delivering fluid systems that are critical to the functionality of the Terran R rocket. You will collaborate with the Stage Fluids team to develop propellant, pressurant, and pneumatic systems, ensuring that they meet performance and safety requirements. Your role will involve conducting simulations and analyses to validate your designs, as well as creating detailed documentation to support production and testing. You will participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the team. You will also work closely with manufacturing and testing teams to ensure that your designs are implemented correctly and perform as expected in real-world conditions. Your contributions will directly impact the success of the Terran R program and help advance the future of space exploration.
