Application Architect – Java

 Application Architect Java is required to lead the technical solutioning, development, and deployment of Java microservices on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)/Azure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, Spring Boot, and database management, with a keen understanding of cloud-based architectures and best practices. The Application Architect will be responsible for building proposals, participating in technical design solutions, and providing accurate estimations for project timelines and efforts. They will also lead technical discussions with clients, drive effective technical decisions, and ensure adherence to design principles and patterns for clean, scalable, and maintainable code.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical solutioning, development, and deployment of Java microservices on Azure/Google Cloud Platform(GCP)/ Google services/Azure Services.
• Build proposals, participate in technical design solutions, and provide accurate estimations for project timelines and efforts.
• Utilize expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and unit testing to develop high-quality and efficient solutions.
• Leverage strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL for database development and optimization.
• Ensure adherence to design principles and patterns to maintain clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Lead technical discussions with clients, providing insights, recommendations, and driving effective technical decisions.
• Interact and communicate effectively with client stakeholders, internal teams, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices.

Skill & Experience details

• 12 + years of experience in application architecture, design, and development.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and unit testing frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP)/Azure.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL or similar databases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and drive effective technical decisions.
