Overview

Xometry is seeking a Director of Partner Management to build and scale a high-performing Partner Network in the additive manufacturing category. This role requires 8+ years of experience in manufacturing operations and partner management.

Job Description

Who you are

You have over 8 years of experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain, or partner management — you've successfully built and managed high-performing teams and understand the intricacies of the manufacturing landscape. Your expertise in partner lifecycle management allows you to effectively recruit, onboard, activate, and retain high-quality partners, ensuring their success and satisfaction. You are well-versed in compliance standards such as ITAR, JCP, and ISO, and you have a strong grasp of category-specific manufacturing processes and market dynamics.

You possess excellent leadership skills — mentoring and guiding regional teams comes naturally to you, and you foster an environment of knowledge sharing and best practices. Your analytical mindset enables you to monitor and manage key performance indicators effectively, driving partner acquisition and retention strategies that align with organizational goals. You are a collaborative individual who thrives in cross-functional environments, working closely with operations, enablement, and marketing teams to standardize training and reporting processes.

Desirable

Experience in additive manufacturing or related fields is a plus, as is familiarity with digital marketplaces and their operational challenges. You have a track record of developing and executing successful strategies that enhance partner satisfaction and drive business growth. Your ability to navigate complex compliance requirements while maintaining high standards of quality sets you apart.

What you'll do

As the Director of Partner Management at Xometry, you will own the partner lifecycle for the additive manufacturing category across all U.S. regions. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute strategies that recruit, onboard, activate, and retain high-quality partners. You will define and enforce category-specific playbooks, processes, and standards to ensure compliance and maintain high partner satisfaction.

You will monitor and manage key performance indicators, including partner acquisition, activation rates, quality, on-time shipping, and retention. Collaborating with central functions such as operations, enablement, and marketing, you will standardize training, tools, and reporting to enhance partner engagement and success. Your role will also involve mentoring and guiding regional teams, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and best practices.

As a subject-matter expert on category-specific manufacturing processes, trends, and market dynamics, you will provide insights that inform strategic decisions and drive operational excellence. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on goals and objectives, contributing to the overall success of Xometry's partner network.

What we offer

At Xometry, we offer a dynamic work environment where innovation and collaboration are at the forefront. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our partner network and contribute to the growth of our digital marketplace. We provide competitive compensation and benefits, along with opportunities for professional development and career advancement. Join us in powering the industries of today and tomorrow by connecting people with big ideas to the manufacturers who can bring them to life.
