What you'll do

As a Backend Engineer E2 at BitGo, you will be responsible for building and maintaining APIs, libraries, and services that power our wallet solutions, including hot and cold wallets, indexing, and staking services. You will take ownership of functionality and scalability features, ensuring that they are designed and implemented from inception to deployment.

You will collaborate closely with other engineering teams to ensure consistency in understanding technical requirements and to uphold high standards of work quality. Your role will involve exposing and documenting functionality for the UI and third-party developers, making it easier for them to integrate with our services.

Security will be a top priority in your work, as you will constantly focus on implementing features that safeguard the Bitcoin assets in our custody. You will also work on improving internal workflows by developing tools that enhance the efficiency of client-facing teams, ensuring they can provide the best service to our customers.

You will engage in regular code reviews and contribute to the overall architecture of our systems, ensuring that they are robust and capable of handling the demands of a growing user base. Your contributions will directly impact the operational backbone of the digital economy, as BitGo plays a crucial role in the cryptocurrency landscape.
