SoFi is hiring a Senior Analyst for their Business Controls team to facilitate risk management programs and enhance control environments. This role requires collaboration with risk owners and issue owners to ensure effective controls across the Crypto Business Unit.
You have a strong background in risk management and business operations, ideally with experience in the financial services sector. You understand the importance of maintaining a robust control environment and have a proven track record of implementing effective risk management strategies. Your ability to work independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders is key to your success in this role. You are detail-oriented and possess excellent analytical skills, allowing you to identify areas for improvement and drive consistent execution of risk management programs.
Experience in the cryptocurrency space or familiarity with crypto-related risk management practices would be a significant advantage. You are comfortable navigating complex regulatory environments and have a keen understanding of compliance requirements. Your proactive approach to problem-solving and your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will set you apart.
In this role, you will facilitate the implementation and execution of core risk management programs within the Business Controls team. You will collaborate closely with risk owners to identify effective controls and provide guidance on enhancing those controls. Your responsibilities will include assisting issue owners in improving their control measures and supporting Supplier Relationship Owners in meeting Supplier Risk Management program requirements. You will also contribute to control testing engagements, ensuring that control owners are equipped to maintain a strong control environment across the Crypto Business Unit. Your role is crucial in supporting the 1st Line of Defense and ensuring that risk management practices are consistently applied throughout the organization.
