You are a dedicated individual ready to take on the responsibilities of a Chip Mill Operator at Enviva. As a Chip Mill Operator, you will be responsible for the continuous operation of the chip mill, which includes safely operating equipment such as knuckle booms, front end loaders, grapple loaders, and bulldozers. You will troubleshoot and operate woodyard equipment, including debarkers, chippers, and bark hogs, ensuring that all machinery is functioning optimally. Daily inspections and preventive maintenance will be part of your routine, as you will maintain, replace, and repair parts of the chipper as needed. You will also operate computers and HMI screens to monitor operational values, making necessary adjustments to ensure smooth operations. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining required paperwork and coordinating housekeeping to meet company standards.
