About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Product Marketing Operations Intern who is best in class with a high IQ plus a high EQ and. This role presents an exciting opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing team, with abundant prospects for career advancement. 

This internship sits within the Product org, working directly under Sezzle’s Product Marketing Manager, and plays a critical role in turning product marketing strategies into high-quality, user-facing campaigns. You’ll help build Braze campaigns, write copy, submit and manage creative requests, run surveys, analyze results, and support ongoing product marketing initiatives across consumer-facing product flows.

This role is ideal for someone who loves getting things done, learning how product and marketing teams collaborate, who is highly organized and detail-oriented to support the execution of lifecycle marketing, experimentation, and go-to-market programs across our ecosystem, also that would like applying creativity and data to real user problems. You’ll contribute directly to measurable business outcomes while gaining hands-on experience across product marketing, and lifecycle operations. 

What You'll Do:

  • Braze Campaign Execution
    • Build, deploy, and analyze multi-channel campaigns in Braze.
    • Write and optimize marketing copy aligned to Sezzle’s brand guidelines and value props.
    • Partner with Product Marketing Manager to A/B test messaging, creative, timing, and audience strategy.
  • Marketing Operations & Creative Management
    • Own the process for submitting creative asset tickets and tracking delivery timelines.
    • Audit existing assets and identify opportunities to reuse, optimize, or reposition creative based on product goals.
    • Recommend ideal placements for marketing assets across app surfaces, user lifecycle stages, and channels.
  • Survey Creation & Insights
    • Build and send in-app and email surveys to understand user behavior, awareness, and product adoption.
    • Analyze survey responses and synthesize key insights for product stakeholders.
  • Data & Performance Reporting
    • Analyze simple performance data (CTR, engagement funnels, conversions, etc.) to identify whether campaigns are “working” based on defined KPIs.
    • Recommend clear next steps and optimization ideas based on results.

What We Look For:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Product, or related field.
  • Strong writing skills
  • Comfortable learning new tools (Braze, Redash, Confluence, Jira, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of A/B testing, segmentation, or customer journeys
  • Ability to analyze simple datasets and identify trend
  • Prior experience in internships, projects, or extracurriculars related to product, QA, UX/UI, startups, or tech (e.g., hackathons, app development) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Prior internship in marketing, product, or UX
  • Experience with lifecycle marketing platforms
  • Interest in fintech, BNPL, or mobile consumer apps

Compensation: The salary for the Product Marketing Operations Intern is 700 USD monthly gross.
