Your commitment to continuous improvement in security practices is evident in your proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities.

Desirable

Experience in a government or regulated environment is a plus, as is familiarity with AWS services and infrastructure. A background in project management methodologies will enhance your ability to lead complex security initiatives successfully.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage the installation and maintenance of physical security systems across AWS data centers. You will be responsible for ensuring that all security projects align with AWS Physical Security Standards and effectively mitigate identified threats. Collaborating with various teams, you will oversee the implementation of security measures and ensure that local security teams are equipped with the necessary knowledge and resources to uphold security protocols. You will conduct regular assessments of security systems and processes, making recommendations for improvements where necessary. Your role will also involve training and mentoring local security personnel to enhance their technical capabilities and understanding of security systems. You will be the point of contact for security-related inquiries and will work to foster a culture of security awareness within the organization.
