Who you are

You are an entry-level cook with a high school diploma or equivalency certificate, and ideally, you possess a culinary degree or have at least 2 years of experience in the food service industry. You have a firm understanding of basic cooking principles and techniques, along with knowledge of food safety principles. Your basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment make you a valuable addition to the team. You are professional, possess strong communication skills, and are willing to obtain a TX food handler card.

What you'll do

In this role, you will set up and maintain a clean and safe workstation, ensuring that all food preparation tasks are completed efficiently. You will help the team meet time and quality standards set by your supervisor, cooking and plating completed dishes for service. Your responsibilities will also include cleaning kitchen equipment and work/storage areas to maintain a hygienic environment. You will work collaboratively with your team to provide quality food options that boost morale and productivity at SpaceX.
