Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 5 years of experience in program management. Your expertise includes managing cross-functional projects and ensuring compliance with user data policies and regulatory frameworks such as DMA, FCO, and AADC. You possess excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, complemented by your proficiency in automation and data visualization. Your verbal and written communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to convey complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You thrive in environments where collaboration is key, and you enjoy working with diverse teams to achieve common goals. Your ability to analyze data and present findings effectively makes you a valuable asset in any project. You understand that a problem isn’t truly solved until it’s addressed comprehensively, and you are committed to creating inclusive solutions that benefit all users.

Desirable

You have a proven track record of managing large-scale projects that span multiple teams and organizational levels. Your experience in guiding technical migrations and implementing scalable process improvements sets you apart. You are familiar with the latest trends in infrastructure and policy, particularly as they relate to smart home technologies.

You will work closely with stakeholders to plan project requirements, identify risks, and manage schedules effectively. Your role will involve communicating project progress and challenges to cross-functional partners, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.

You will be responsible for implementing scalable process and system improvements that reduce maintenance costs for compliant features. Your analytical skills will be crucial as you analyze data and dashboards to report progress and maintain clear communication with leadership. You will guide major technical migrations, ensuring that all teams are aligned and that stakeholder commitments are met.

In this role, you will also have the opportunity to influence technical roadmaps and contribute to the strategic direction of the Google Home Infrastructure team. You will collaborate with engineers to discuss technical trade-offs and ensure that the infrastructure supports the development of compelling user experiences.

What we offer

At Google, you will be part of a mission-driven team that aims to create a home that takes care of the people inside and the world around it. You will work in a dynamic environment that encourages innovation and collaboration. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, along with opportunities for professional growth and development. Join us in shaping the future of smart home technology and making a positive impact on users' lives.
