Google is seeking a Senior AI Sales Specialist to drive business growth in the Cloud sector. You'll leverage your expertise in AI and data analytics to develop new territories and support executive relationships. This role requires fluency in Japanese and 10 years of sales experience.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in sales, consistently exceeding business goals. Your background includes at least 2 years in engineering or promoting AI or data analytics technologies, showcasing your ability to understand complex technical solutions. You excel in building and maintaining executive relationships, and you have a proven track record of developing new territories and accounts. Fluency in Japanese is essential for effective communication with local stakeholders, and you are also comfortable communicating in English to engage with international teams.
You possess strong organizational skills, allowing you to prioritize and plan solution-based business activities effectively within business cycles. Your experience includes qualifying accounts and leveraging partner ecosystems to drive business success. You have worked collaboratively with internal and external teams, including account teams, technical leads, procurement, and legal, to assess existing software estates and build compelling business cases for transformation.
Your knowledge of market trends, products, and solutions related to Cloud and AI is extensive, and you have a solid understanding of Generative AI business applications. You are adept at navigating complex sales processes and have a strategic mindset that enables you to forecast and report on business performance accurately.
Experience in engineering or promoting AI SaaS platforms or Cloud AI technologies is a plus, as is familiarity with the latest advancements in AI and data analytics. You are proactive in seeking out new opportunities and are driven by the challenge of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth across an assigned territory or market, working with multiple customers and opportunities simultaneously. You will engage with customers to understand their technology needs, strategies, growth plans, and business drivers, helping them transform their operations using Google Cloud technologies. Your ability to deliver against quota and achieve or exceed business and growth goals will be critical to your success.
You will forecast and report on the territory's business, ensuring that you are aligned with overall company objectives. Collaborating closely with various teams, you will inventory existing software estates and build business cases for transformation, including implementation plans that resonate with stakeholders. Your role will involve closing agreements and ensuring that customers are satisfied with their solutions.
