Amazon is seeking a Head of Operations to lead the Delivery Station in Bayreuth. You'll coordinate a team of managers to ensure operational excellence and efficiency in fulfilling customer orders. This role requires strong leadership skills and experience in operations management.
You have extensive experience in operations management, ideally in a logistics or production environment. Your leadership skills enable you to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. You are adept at creating operational plans that align with business goals and drive team performance. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering exceptional results for customers. Your ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders helps you coordinate efforts across different teams.
Experience in managing large teams and complex operations is a plus. Familiarity with logistics processes and a strong understanding of operational excellence principles will set you apart. You are open to relocating if necessary and are willing to work night shifts to meet operational demands.
In this role, you will oversee the operations of the Delivery Station in Bayreuth, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will lead a team of approximately 130 employees, coordinating with other managers to achieve operational goals. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing operational strategies, monitoring performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will be responsible for creating a safe and productive work environment, fostering a culture of excellence among your team members. You will also be involved in planning and executing operational changes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Amazon offers a permanent contract with competitive compensation, including restricted stock units and a night shift bonus.
