Overview

HubSpot is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their Japan sales team. You'll conduct high volume prospecting activities to generate qualified leads and work closely with Sales Representatives. This role requires excellent communication skills and a track record of high achievement.

Who you are

You are a self-motivated individual with a track record of high achievement in sales. You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, which enable you to effectively engage with prospects and team members alike. Your competitive nature drives you to excel in a fast-paced sales environment, and you are eager to grow your career within the organization. Previous experience in similar roles has equipped you with the skills necessary to succeed as a Business Development Representative.

What you'll do

In this role, you will conduct high volume prospecting activities, making between 40 and 60 calls per day to generate qualified leads. You will source and research companies across various segments to identify potential business opportunities. Collaborating closely with assigned Sales Representatives, you will develop and implement effective prospecting strategies and plans. You will also work with the sales management and marketing teams to ensure the quality and quantity of product demonstrations. Scheduling online product demonstrations for your assigned Sales Representative will be part of your responsibilities, as well as conducting needs assessment calls with specific prospects.
