NICE is seeking a DevOps Engineer to automate and maintain applications for their Cloud Platform Engineering team. You'll work with AWS, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes to enhance service reliability. This role requires experience in infrastructure provisioning and automation.
You have a strong background in DevOps practices and tools, with experience in automating infrastructure and application deployments. You are familiar with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and have a solid understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. Your expertise in Linux systems administration allows you to troubleshoot and optimize performance effectively. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions that enhance operational efficiency. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment processes. You understand the importance of monitoring and telemetry in maintaining application health and performance.
In this role, you will act as the engineering contact for product build, deployment, and release questions, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will lead investigations into root cause outages, performance, and cost issues, developing strategies to mitigate these challenges. Your responsibilities will include managing the work backlog and developing deployment and reliability improvements to enhance service delivery. You will also focus on automating low-value tasks to free up time for more strategic project delivery. As part of the Cloud Platform Engineering team, you will contribute to the development of centralized DevOps solutions that support the organization’s goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code, ensuring that the applications are robust and scalable.
