Experience in the public safety sector or with drone technology is a plus. Familiarity with the sales process in a technology-driven environment will help you excel in this role. A background in strategic account management will be beneficial as you work closely with the Key Account Leader to drive initiatives forward.

What you'll do

As a Senior Strategic Account Executive, you will take ownership of driving engagements with State Patrol agencies, focusing on the deployment of drone and counter-drone solutions. You will serve as a strategic advisor, guiding senior public safety leaders in understanding how Axon's products can enhance their operational capabilities. Your role will involve managing critical partner relationships, including Axon’s collaboration with Skydio, to ensure seamless integration of technology into public safety operations.

You will be responsible for developing and executing account strategies that align with the needs of your clients. This includes identifying opportunities for growth and innovation within your territory, which spans multiple states. Your ability to analyze market trends and customer feedback will be crucial in shaping the direction of your engagements.

Travel will be a significant component of your role, with a minimum of 60% required to meet with clients and stakeholders across your territory. You will work closely with the Sales Director to report on progress and strategize on future initiatives. Your insights will help inform product development and marketing strategies, ensuring that Axon remains at the forefront of public safety technology.
