Google is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead complex hardware system engineering projects in the Home and Health sector. You'll manage cross-functional teams and drive product development processes. This role requires 5+ years of experience in program management and technical leadership.
You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 5 years of experience in hardware system engineering program management, team leadership, or product design engineering. Your background includes experience in phase gate product development, and you possess the ability to travel internationally up to 30% of the time. You are fluent in both English and Mandarin, enabling you to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. You have a proven track record of leading technical teams and cross-functional groups, managing multiple tasks, and driving them to completion.
As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will leverage your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and ensure clear communication with cross-functional partners across the company. You will be responsible for driving product development processes and phase gate reviews with cross-functional teams, ensuring that teams meet schedule, system build milestones, cost, quality, and manufacturability. You will lead the resolution of key technical issues and communicate project status to stakeholders and leadership, acting as the interface between joint development partners and cross-functional Engineering and Operation teams.
