Overview

Squarespace is seeking a Senior Director of B2B Marketing to lead their go-to-market strategy for the upmarket SMB segment. You'll be responsible for building a demand engine and collaborating with Sales and Product Marketing. This role requires expertise in modern B2B marketing tactics.

Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience in B2B marketing, particularly in the SMB segment, where you've successfully defined and executed go-to-market strategies that drive engagement and conversion. Your strategic mindset allows you to architect marketing functions from the ground up, ensuring alignment with sales and customer success teams. You possess a deep understanding of modern marketing tactics, including demand generation and account-based marketing, and you are comfortable managing media spend and developing integrated campaigns.

You thrive in leadership roles, having built and led teams that deliver measurable results. Your ability to refine the Ideal Customer Profile and develop verticalized playbooks demonstrates your commitment to long-term retention and growth. You are a collaborative partner who enjoys working cross-functionally with sales, product marketing, and revenue operations to achieve shared goals. Your entrepreneurial spirit drives you to innovate and adapt in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that your marketing strategies resonate with larger SMB merchants across various industries.

Desirable

Experience in a tech-driven environment is a plus, as is familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms. You have a track record of successfully managing large media budgets and optimizing campaigns based on performance data. What you'll do

In this role, you will define and own the B2B go-to-market strategy for Squarespace, focusing on acquiring and growing larger SMB merchants. You will develop a unified marketing strategy that aligns with sales and customer success objectives, translating growth goals into a roadmap of integrated campaigns across various channels, including paid media, brand, content, and lifecycle marketing. Your leadership will be crucial in building a world-class demand engine that drives qualified pipeline and strengthens brand presence across key verticals.

You will work closely with sales teams to fuel outbound sales motions and ensure that marketing efforts are effectively supporting sales initiatives. Your responsibilities will include developing messaging architecture and key narratives that resonate with target audiences, as well as refining the Ideal Customer Profile to enhance long-term retention. You will also have the opportunity to build and lead your own team, shaping the future of B2B marketing at Squarespace.
