Overview

BridgeBio is seeking a Senior Medical Director for Medical Affairs to lead the medical strategy for innovative treatments in rare diseases. This role requires extensive medical expertise and cross-functional collaboration.

Job Description

Who you are

You are an experienced medical professional with a strong background in medical affairs, ideally with over 10 years in the biopharmaceutical industry. You have a proven track record of developing and executing medical strategies that align with clinical development programs. Your expertise in rare diseases, particularly in areas like autosomal dominant hypocalcemia type 1 (ADH1) and chronic hypoparathyroidism, sets you apart. You thrive in cross-functional environments and are skilled at engaging with various stakeholders to drive scientific engagement and evidence generation. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to convey complex medical information clearly and effectively. You are passionate about advancing healthcare solutions and are motivated by the opportunity to make a significant impact on patients' lives.

Desirable

Experience in leading medical affairs for product launches is a plus. Familiarity with lifecycle planning and post-marketing activities will enhance your candidacy. A strong network within the medical community and experience in clinical development will be advantageous.

What you'll do

As the Senior Medical Director, you will be responsible for shaping the medical strategy for BridgeBio's innovative therapies. You will lead the development and execution of clinical development programs, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and scientific standards. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to support evidence generation and dissemination, which is critical for the successful launch of new therapies. You will engage with key opinion leaders and stakeholders to foster scientific discussions and gather insights that inform clinical strategies. Additionally, you will oversee the preparation for the United States launch and manage post-marketing activities to ensure ongoing success.
