Job Description

Amazon Business Catalog Taxonomy Operations team is focused on building solutions that enable B2B customers to find, research, and buy products and services from a vast selection, across multiple devices, marketplaces and regions. The team ensures that our selection is classified for AB customers to perform business specific functions such as approval routing, spend analysis, create procurement policies for compliance, and do forecasting and reporting.
Base pay for this position starts from EUR 1300 gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements. Company benefits apply subject to further terms, including annual membership in medical clinic, life insurance, retirement pension, meal voucher card.

• Assign global classifications to Amazon catalog selection for business customers
• Use internal tools and resources to manage the workload
• Review, auditing and classification of the Amazon catalog for content quality, based on predefined guidelines.
• Thoroughly checking product images and information to ensure accuracy and completeness of the data.
• Providing feedback to streamline existing processes to help the team achieve more consistent results.
• Working with project teams to write and test new operating procedures for new audit and data quality management tasks.
• Follow given guidelines and be able to make decisions in ambiguous situations
• Pay attention to details and actively bring attention to gaps and errors
• Consistently meet performance goals and targets
• Willingness and ability to work with sensitive issues, including but not limited to:
• Adult content, Religious and philosophically sensitive issues, Alcohol, tobacco, weapons and other potentially offensive products.

About the team
We are a global team fostering a multicultural environment, supporting 10 marketplaces plus expanding to 2 more in upcoming year. We engage and collaborate daily within our team, as well as with our global counterparts across Europe and JP.• English written and spoken (B2)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis on basic Excel competencies• Ability to follow given guidelines and make decisions in ambiguous situations
• Previous experience in taxonomies or catalog classification is a plus
• Analytical skills, including research skills, ability to interpret data, ability to conceptualize and analyze information
• Detail oriented with an ability to process a high volume of data on daily basis
• Proven track record in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
• Ability to take initiative to identify issues, resolve different situations, and work independently
• Familiarity with online retail (e-commerce) and product catalog information
• Some working experience in online retail operations or other Internet application fields
