Cloudflare is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer to lead technical efforts throughout the sales cycle for Public Sector clients. You'll leverage your expertise to educate and empower customers on the Cloudflare platform. This role requires strong technical skills and experience in a customer-facing position.
You have a strong technical background and experience in a customer-facing role, ideally with 5+ years in solutions engineering or a related field. You possess excellent communication skills and can articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Your curiosity drives you to continuously learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment, and you thrive on building relationships with clients to ensure their success. You are empathetic and understand the importance of a diverse and inclusive team, contributing positively to the company culture.
Experience with public sector clients is a plus, as is familiarity with Cloudflare's products and services. You may have a background in networking, security, or cloud technologies, which will enhance your ability to support customers effectively. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for technology will set you apart in this role.
As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Cloudflare, you will be the technical lynchpin throughout the sales cycle, providing pre-sales and account technical leadership. You will work closely with Public Sector prospects and customers, educating them about the Cloudflare platform and ensuring their success. Your role will involve collaborating with sales teams to identify customer needs and tailor solutions that meet those needs effectively. You will conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations, showcasing the value of Cloudflare's offerings.
You will also engage in technical discussions with clients, addressing their concerns and providing insights into best practices for implementation. Your expertise will help guide customers through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition to the Cloudflare platform. Additionally, you will gather feedback from clients to inform product development and improvements, acting as a voice for the customer within the organization.
