Senior Software Engineer- Cloud Native Protection

Who you are

You have 6+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in building scalable enterprise or cloud software. Your strong problem-solving abilities and technical foundation enable you to take ownership of significant features and mentor junior team members effectively. You possess a deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems, which allows you to tackle complex challenges in cloud environments. Your proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Go, or Python is complemented by hands-on experience with public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with product managers and architects to define requirements and deliver impactful features.

Desirable

Experience with cloud-native design patterns and microservices architecture is a plus. Familiarity with Kubernetes and SaaS applications will enhance your ability to operationalize protection for various workloads. You are also comfortable diagnosing and resolving complex problems in hybrid environments, ensuring high availability and reliability of cloud-native protection systems.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take full ownership of projects from design to implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing operations. You will design, develop, and deliver scalable, highly available cloud-native services focused on data protection and recovery. Your responsibilities will include building and operationalizing protection for Kubernetes, SaaS applications, and public cloud workloads. You will implement cloud-scale APIs and microservices, leveraging native cloud services such as storage, IAM, and networking. Additionally, you will optimize the performance, cost, and reliability of cloud-native protection systems, ensuring they meet the needs of the business and its customers.

Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver impactful features. You will also mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence within your team. Your role will involve diagnosing and resolving complex problems in cloud and hybrid environments, contributing to the overall success of the projects you lead.
