About Vendor Consultant Program
Vendor Consultant Program in Amazon RBS organization is to own operational business metrics and associated tasks for JP AVS vendors. These include business metrics that require minimal financial judgement or commercial negotiations needed. We aim to deliver this through a dedicated team of vendor consultants, who will act as the primary owner of business metrics for their assigned set of vendors. Our primary customer is our vendors, who subscribe to the AVS service with the intent to get a customized service that will augment their growth on Amazon. To be able to delight our customer, we will aim to provide a high-quality service that exceeds our vendor’s expectations by driving their growth on Amazon by improving metric performance.
About the Role
As a Sr. Subject Matter Expert, you will interact directly with Amazon internal customers, as well as global functional team to build up workflows to improve business metrics for JP AVS vendors, streamline process, manage requirement changes and provide high quality service delivery to customers according to requirements and SLAs previous agreed. As a Sr. SME you will focus on building end-to-end solution and process excellence mechanism.


Key job responsibilities
1. Provide complete Subject expertise including Knowledge creation, SOP standardization, ensure comprehensive playbooks in place for VC to execute actions and etc.
2. Identify business impact metrics, align with Stakeholders, establish them and report it across WW MPs
3. VCP new tasks onboarding by liaising with Retail teams and evaluating tasks along with its impact and ensure right processes in place.
4. Create a clear strategy with a Control Plan at a GL level to ensure an effective sprint mechanism, and reviewed on a weekly basis and take decisions based on the metric fluctuation.
5. Collaborate with domestic and global cross-functional teams to optimize end to end workflow and meet and exceed business metrics goal.
6. Dive deep and understand different upstream systems & processes that lead to product defects,
7. Use data analysis to identify gaps, structure initiatives, recommend solutions and drive consensus on strategic inter-function business decisions
8. Drive inputs to improve standard operating procedures, and eliminate defects through process improvement or automation fixes by working with internal/external stakeholders.
9. Owns wide project on metric deliverables, process optimization, defect eliminations, tech. solutions.
10. Deliver defined business metrics and quality goals by comprehensive solutions design.
11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for streamlining the VCP. Develop and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of VCP process.

Basic qualifications

- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience handling projects using six sigma or Lean processes
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations- Experience in advanced SQL, Python, Tableau;
- Experience in e-commerce product listing & catalog
