Google is seeking a Senior EHS Program Manager to lead complex projects in data centers. You'll manage EHS compliance and stakeholder relationships while communicating in Portuguese, Spanish, and English. This role requires 5+ years of experience in program management and EHS systems.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 5 years of experience in program or project management. Your background includes 5 years of experience in EHS management systems or managing EHS compliance with environmental programs, such as emissions and wastewater. You are fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, enabling you to effectively support stakeholder and client relationship management in the region. Ideally, you hold a Master's degree or PhD in Occupational Safety or a related field, and you have 7 years of experience in EHS program management or a related field. Your experience working in data centers has equipped you with knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices. You are willing to travel as needed to data centers across South America and have a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex, cross-functional projects.
As a Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres, requiring you to coordinate the players and keep them updated on progress and deadlines. You will develop and implement strategic plans for program initiatives, ensuring alignment with Google's overall EHS direction and goals. Monitoring and tracking program performance will be key, as you will identify areas for improvement and implement corrective action plans. Additionally, you will manage the program budget and resources effectively, ensuring that all aspects of the program are executed efficiently and successfully.
