The role: What's in the Box

As a Senior Frontend Engineer in Menu2Content, you will define and implement scalable technical solutions for complex business problems. You will drive key initiatives, working closely with stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build a global solution that works seamlessly across all markets. Your work will ensure a clear architecture with well-defined boundaries, enabling team autonomy and efficient operations worldwide.

What you’ll do: The Recipe 

• Work in a cross-functional team, typically 5+ people, using various technologies and frameworks with a strong focus on ReactJS/Redux. Take ownership of the architecture, design, development, deployment, and operations of the services you will develop using DevOps practices, pair programming, and other cutting-edge methodologies
• Be an active, solution-oriented member of autonomous, cross-functional agile teams collaborating with Product Owners, Front-end and Back-end Engineers, Designers, and Business Intelligence teams
• Having an in-depth understanding of HelloFresh’s core product and architecture and acting as an ambassador for software solutions, offering support and mentorship to colleagues
• Solve software problems that have visible risks, roadblocks, and constraints. Examples might include legacy dependencies, data quality, compliance, and architecture or technology limitations

What you’ll bring: The Ingredients

• Proven experience in software development with strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in ReactJS/Next.js, Redux, JavaScript(ES6+), HTML5, TypeScript and CSS5
• Experience in mono-repositories, frontend developer experience tools
• Experience writing unit/integration/functional test cases and Cypress, Jest frameworks
• Strong problem-solving skills, leveraging Gen AI tooling
• Proficiency in end-to-end development processes, including TDD, application tuning/profiling, and continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD)
• Enthusiasm for software engineering and passion for mentoring and helping others grow through knowledge-sharing sessions and peer-to-peer learning
