DevOps Engineer III

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a strong focus on CI/CD practices and infrastructure management. Your expertise includes designing and implementing scalable CI/CD pipelines, and you are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive projects from concept to completion. You have a solid understanding of cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS), and you are skilled in using tools like GitHub Actions and ArgoCD to streamline deployment processes.

You are proficient in managing artifact repositories, specifically Artifactory, ensuring efficient software delivery. Your experience includes implementing GitOps workflows, which allows for declarative application deployment and enhances the overall software delivery lifecycle. You are also familiar with automation tools and scripting languages, which you use to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort across the software development lifecycle.

Desirable

Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes would be a plus. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools to ensure system reliability and performance is also desirable. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to share your knowledge with team members, helping to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines that support the development and deployment of applications across multiple cloud providers. You will collaborate closely with architects and other DevOps/Infrastructure teams to lead CI/CD projects from design through implementation, ensuring that best practices are followed throughout the process.

You will manage and optimize artifact repositories, specifically Artifactory, to facilitate efficient software delivery. Your role will also involve implementing and managing GitOps workflows using ArgoCD, which will help streamline application deployment and improve operational efficiency.

As part of your responsibilities, you will provision and manage infrastructure on GCP and AWS, ensuring that it meets the needs of the development and operations teams. You will work to identify and address bottlenecks in the software delivery lifecycle, collaborating with development and operations teams to enhance overall efficiency.

Additionally, you will develop and implement automation tools and scripts to improve processes and reduce manual effort across the software development lifecycle. Your contributions will be critical in ensuring that the CI/CD pipelines are robust, scalable, and capable of supporting the rapid pace of development at ZoomInfo.
