Overview

Esri is seeking a Senior Account Manager for Local Government to enhance customer relationships and implement geospatial technology strategies. This role requires strong collaboration skills and an understanding of local government needs.

Who you are

You have a strong background in account management, particularly within the local government sector, and possess a deep understanding of geospatial technology applications. Your customer-oriented approach allows you to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with teams to identify and implement strategies that address complex challenges faced by organizations.

Your experience includes developing and executing location strategies for large, complex organizations, where you have successfully created new opportunities and deepened existing relationships. You are adept at navigating the intricacies of customer budgeting and acquisition processes, allowing you to engage with executive-level decision-makers confidently. Your advanced industry knowledge enables you to articulate the value of technology solutions in a way that resonates with local government clients.

You are committed to continuous learning and growth, consistently seeking to enhance your understanding of the geospatial technology landscape and its relevance to local government. You are proactive in conducting research and staying informed about industry trends, which helps you provide valuable insights to your clients.

Desirable

Experience in presenting at trade shows, workshops, and seminars is a plus, as is familiarity with the challenges and opportunities within the local government sector. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with local government clients, working closely with them to optimize and expand their adoption of Esri technology. You will prospect and develop location strategies tailored to the specific needs of large organizations, ensuring that you create new opportunities for growth. Your ability to understand complex customer needs and articulate the strengths of Esri's offerings will be crucial in deepening relationships and driving success.

You will participate in and present at various industry events, showcasing Esri's technology and its impact on local government operations. As part of the State and Local Government account team, you will collaborate with colleagues to deliver expertise that aligns with clients' missions. Your insights will help clients navigate their challenges and leverage Esri technology to achieve their goals. You will also be expected to stay informed about industry trends and best practices, ensuring that you can provide the most relevant and impactful solutions to your clients.
