Instacart is seeking a Lead Manager, Payroll Accounting to oversee payroll operations and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements. This role involves managing a team and driving process innovation across HR. The position is remote and available in specific Canadian provinces.
You have extensive experience in payroll accounting, ideally with a focus on compliance and operational excellence. You understand the intricacies of payroll processes and have a proven track record of ensuring accuracy and integrity in payroll data. Your leadership skills enable you to mentor and guide a team effectively, fostering a collaborative environment where everyone can thrive. You are proactive in identifying areas for process improvement and innovation, ensuring that payroll operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Experience with U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance is highly desirable, as is familiarity with payroll systems and software. You have a strong analytical mindset, allowing you to interpret data and make informed decisions that enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency. Your ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships is essential, as you will collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
In this role, you will lead payroll accounting operations, overseeing all aspects of payroll processing and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
