Okta is seeking a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to enhance their cloud infrastructure security. You'll work with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes to design and implement robust security solutions. This role requires extensive experience in site reliability and security practices.
You have a strong background in site reliability engineering with at least 8 years of experience in building and maintaining large-scale cloud infrastructure. Your expertise in AWS and Linux allows you to design systems that are both resilient and secure. You are proficient in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, enabling you to manage complex deployments effectively.
Your experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and configuration management tools such as Ansible demonstrates your ability to automate and streamline operations. You understand the importance of monitoring and observability, utilizing tools like Prometheus and Grafana to ensure system health and performance.
You have a solid understanding of security best practices and are committed to implementing defense-in-depth measures to protect sensitive data. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams ensures that security is integrated into every aspect of the development lifecycle. You are a lifelong learner, always seeking to improve your skills and knowledge in the ever-evolving field of cloud security.
Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards is a plus, as is familiarity with incident response and disaster recovery planning.
