What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Upstart, you will be part of the Capital Marketplace team, which plays a crucial role in the company's AI lending operations. You will collaborate with engineers and other teams to develop and maintain systems that facilitate onboarding and managing relationships with lending partners and investors. Your work will involve creating reports and forecasts that help optimize the connection between customers and funding suppliers.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Capital Marketplace. This includes working on backend systems, ensuring they are robust and scalable to handle the demands of a growing user base. You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall improvement of engineering practices within the team.

Your role will require you to stay updated on industry trends and best practices, allowing you to bring innovative ideas to the table. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and help foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
