Job Description

As a Senior Learning Program Manager at Amazon, you'll pioneer innovative learning solutions that shape our future. You'll drive large-scale learning programs across our operations, collaborating with senior stakeholders to design and implement impactful learning experiences. This role offers the opportunity to influence business decisions through data-driven learning strategies while contributing to our long-term vision of developing exceptional leaders.
This position is a fixed-term temporary assignment for a duration of two years to cover an absence/leave.

Key job responsibilities
Learning Strategy & Design

• Define innovative learning programs for Amazon first-line leaders
• Conduct learning needs analysis and develop comprehensive learning strategies
• Support the implementation of engaging blended learning experiences using modern learning technologies
• Drive continuous improvement of learning programs through data analysis and learner feedback

Program Management

• Lead end-to-end management of complex learning initiatives across multiple business lines with focus on safety and compliance
• Partner with senior leadership to establish program priorities and success metrics
• Manage program budgets, resources, and stakeholder relationships
• Drive measurable business impact through effective learning solutions
• Leverage learning management systems and digital tools to enhance program delivery
• Spearhead the adoption of innovative learning technologies and methodologies, leveraging data insights to optimize engagement and learning impact
• Develop metrics to measure program effectiveness on safety performance and compliance
• Create scalable solutions for sustainable program growth

About the team
EU STEP brings together Supply Chain, Network Design, and Transportation Planning teams to improve end-to-end forecasting, network flow, planning, and execution. It also brings together our teams from across the business focused on our Operational Excellence pillars - Amazon Customer Excellence Systems (ACES), Learning, Quality, Service, Sustainability and Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Field teams. This integration strengthens operations and execution while driving quality improvements and enhanced customer experience across the entire value chain.• Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Business, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in learning program management or equivalent
• Proven track record of managing large-scale learning initiatives or equivalent
• Advanced proficiency in English (written and verbal)
• Experience with learning management systems and digital learning tools
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders

• Master's degree in Learning & Development, Business, or related field
• Experience in operations or supply chain environment
• Certification as Safety Specialist (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit) according to German Occupational Safety Act (ASIG) or equivalent
• Certification in Compliance Management
• Certification in project management (PMP, Prince2) or learning design
• Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools
• Experience with change management and organizational development
