Dropbox is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to lead strategic partnerships that drive revenue and enhance product strategy. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams and focus on AI/ML partnerships. This role requires strong project management and negotiation skills.
You have 5+ years of experience in business development or strategic partnerships, demonstrating a strong ability to manage relationships and negotiate effectively. Your background includes working with technology partners, and you possess a keen understanding of how to drive revenue through strategic alliances. You are a structured and analytical thinker, capable of distilling complex issues into actionable plans. Your project management skills are top-notch, allowing you to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously while ensuring alignment with company goals. You are passionate about technology and business strategy, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can work cross-functionally with teams such as Product, Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Finance.
An MBA or experience in management consulting would be a plus, as would familiarity with AI/ML technologies and their application in business contexts. You are comfortable navigating the complexities of partnership dynamics and have a track record of identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving Dropbox's strategic partnerships strategy. You will identify new opportunities for collaboration across Dropbox’s current and future product lines, focusing particularly on AI/ML partnerships. Your responsibilities will include managing a portfolio of strategic partnerships, negotiating terms, and ensuring that these alliances align with Dropbox's product strategy and revenue targets. You will work closely with the product team to define the future of Dropbox through innovative partnerships that enhance user value and create new revenue streams. You will also be responsible for driving major partner initiatives, requiring you to leverage your critical thinking and creativity to conceive and execute impactful strategies.
