What you'll do

As an Engineering Operation Technician at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the heartbeat of our data centers. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless operation of mission-critical facilities, contributing to our goal of achieving 99.999% uptime. You will be hands-on in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally.

You will operate and maintain various systems, including diesel generators, three-phase electrical systems, and cooling equipment. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and resolving issues quickly, minimizing downtime and ensuring that our customers have continual access to the services they rely on. You will work closely with a diverse team of engineers, collaborating on projects that enhance the efficiency and reliability of our data centers.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will participate in regular maintenance checks and inspections, documenting your findings and recommending improvements where necessary. Your attention to detail will help us maintain the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.
