Overview

Databricks is seeking a Senior Strategic Account Executive in Financial Services to acquire and grow key customers. You'll leverage your expertise in the FSI vertical to drive sales and establish C-Level relationships. This role requires 7+ years of experience in selling complex software deals.

Who you are

You have over 7 years of experience selling complex software deals, particularly within the Financial Services Industry (FSI) vertical. Your ability to compress decision cycles and guide deals forward is a testament to your strong sales acumen. You thrive on understanding products in-depth and are passionate about communicating their value to customers and partners. Your experience has equipped you with the skills to prospect for new opportunities while effectively managing and growing existing accounts.

You excel at building essential relationships with C-Level executives, including those in Engineering, Platform, Architecture, and Data Science roles. Your ability to establish trust and rapport with these stakeholders allows you to become an industry advocate for Databricks. You are adept at identifying key data use cases and buying centers within organizations, ensuring that you maximize the impact of Databricks solutions.

Your leadership skills enable you to provide guidance to customers and technical teams alike. You understand the importance of documenting and planning the growth of Databricks usage for your clients, ensuring that you deliver value in every engagement. You are committed to orchestrating efforts with Databricks teams and ecosystem partners to enhance your sales motions and drive success.

Desirable

While not required, experience with data analytics or cloud-based solutions would be beneficial. Familiarity with the latest trends in the FSI vertical can also set you apart as a candidate.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for securing and growing new logos within strategic accounts in the FSI vertical. Your mission is to expand Databricks use cases in both existing and newly won accounts, maximizing the impact for customers. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that you are leveraging all available resources to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

You will document and drive the growth of Databricks usage for your customers, ensuring that you are meeting their needs and exceeding their expectations. Your ability to navigate complex negotiations will be crucial as you build value in all engagements. You will also be responsible for identifying important data use cases and orchestrating efforts with Databricks teams to maximize your impact on sales motions.

Your role will require you to develop a deep understanding of your customers' businesses, allowing you to provide tailored solutions that meet their specific needs. You will lead discussions with key stakeholders, ensuring that you are aligned with their goals and objectives. Your ability to communicate effectively will be essential as you guide successful negotiations and drive the growth of Databricks in the FSI vertical.
