Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in business strategy and deal negotiation, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. You understand the intricacies of contract negotiations and have a proven track record of aligning customer needs with business objectives. Your ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as sales, legal, and finance makes you an invaluable asset in driving deal formation and execution. You are adept at managing complex deals and have a keen eye for optimizing revenue and profitability while minimizing sales cycle times. You thrive in collaborative environments and are skilled at developing metrics and processes that enhance business visibility and consistency across geographies.

Desirable

Experience in the travel or technology industry is a plus, as is familiarity with licensing and pricing models. You are comfortable with data analysis and can leverage insights to inform deal strategies. Your strong communication skills enable you to negotiate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders alike.

What you'll do

In this role, you will develop in-depth knowledge of Navan's licensing and pricing models to provide deal structuring and quoting support to global sales teams. You will work closely with the sales team to ensure that customer needs are met while adhering to company policies. As a critical enabler of deal formation, you will focus on minimizing sales cycle times and optimizing revenue based on business priorities. You will actively negotiate deals directly with customers as needed and drive best practices to increase sales efficiency through deal reviews and enforcement of standard business practices. Additionally, you will assist with non-standard deal requests and ensure that revenue recognition requirements are handled appropriately. Your role will also involve overseeing deal financials and pricing, as well as managing business risks associated with contract negotiations.
