Carvana is hiring a Logistics Associate responsible for staging and preparing inventory vehicles for transport. This role requires a high school diploma and a valid driver's license, with opportunities for career growth through certifications.
You are an individual contributor with a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years of age. You possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and have the ability to operate a computer and company-issued tablet and mobile devices. You are eager to learn and grow your career, potentially earning your class A CDL through the Loader to Driver program. You understand the importance of safety and quality standards in a logistics environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks related to staging and preparing inventory vehicles for inbound and outbound transport. You will use handheld scanning equipment to log vehicle locations and troubleshoot inventory location issues. Accurately receiving, organizing, locating, and staging inventory vehicles on the lot will be part of your daily responsibilities, ensuring compliance with processing and safety standards. You will conduct multi-point inspections of inventory vehicles and accurately complete inspection reports to maintain quality. Additionally, you will maintain the lot and workspace areas, ensuring they are clean and organized. Safely operating company-owned vehicles and fueling inventory vehicles as needed will also be part of your duties.
Carvana provides a competitive pay range of $17-$18.50 hourly, with financial opportunities for growth through certifications. After 12 months in the role, you can earn an additional $.50 per hour by gaining your first certification, and another $.50 per hour after an additional 6 months for your second certification. You will also have the chance to make an additional $1 per hour by learning how to load and unload vehicles.
