You'll leverage your expertise in Electrical Engineering and Material Science in a collaborative manufacturing environment. This role requires 6+ years of experience in epitaxial growth manufacturing.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Applied Physics, or a related field, along with 6 years of experience in an epitaxial growth manufacturing environment. Your technical leadership experience spans at least 3 years, showcasing your ability to guide teams through complex challenges. A Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field is preferred, along with 8 years of experience in the industry. You possess strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset, essential for driving innovative solutions in manufacturing. Your knowledge of MOCVD and semiconductor materials in optoelectronic applications sets you apart, enabling you to tackle technical issues effectively.
In this role, you will take ownership of the epitaxy growth processes for Google’s micro LED technology, ensuring smooth operations and methodologies for volume manufacturing. You will collaborate closely with epitaxy engineering and operations teams, focusing on improving cycle times and process stability to meet throughput requirements. Your responsibilities will include driving the resolution of materials and device issues as part of cross-functional teams, utilizing your expertise in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and process monitoring. You will engage in developing novel processes and toolsets within a production environment, contributing to the advancement of semiconductor materials display technology. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing productivity and ensuring the successful implementation of innovative manufacturing solutions.
