About the Role

We are looking for our first full-time Finance hire to build and run Altura's internal Finance function as we scale beyond Series A. You’ll work closely with our fractional CFO to turn strategic goals into actionable financial plans, forecasts, and processes, while taking charge of day-to-day operations. From there, you will expand into financial planning & analysis, investor reporting, and compliance, building the foundations of a high-impact Finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Operations

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, overseeing cash flow and liquidity

  • Support and then lead monthly closings and ensure accurate revenue recognition

  • Liaise with external accountants on VAT, payroll, and statutory filings

• Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Build (with support of our Fractional CFO) and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning

  • Monitor performance vs. budget and proactively identify risks and opportunities

  • Provide monthly reporting and analysis to the leadership team and board

• Process, Compliance & Controls

  • Improve internal financial processes, cost-centre structures, and reporting dashboards

  • Implement policies on procurement, travel, reimbursements, and approvals

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations (NL, and UK as we expand)

Who You Are

• 3–6 years of experience in finance, FP&A, or accounting (startup/scaleup experience preferred)

• Strong financial modelling and Excel/Google Sheets skills

• Familiarity with SaaS metrics and revenue recognition principles

• Familiarity with Exact and Moss

• Hands-on, structured, and comfortable working in a fast-moving startup

• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)

We developed an end-to-end platform that enables bid teams to manage and win complex bids, both in the public and private sectors. We use artificial intelligence to connect bid teams to company resources, automate the bidding process and assist proactively with tasks and insights.

In 2022, we launched Altura. Since then, things have taken off. Our team has grown from 8 to 50 people, and the momentum is still going strong.
