Senior Technical Program Manager

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in technical program management, successfully leading complex projects from inception to completion. Your strong analytical skills enable you to navigate challenges and make data-driven decisions effectively. You excel in cross-functional collaboration, working closely with engineering, QA, and product management teams to align goals and ensure project success. You possess deep technical expertise, allowing you to develop detailed project plans with key milestones and goals. You are proactive in identifying and mitigating risks, solving dependencies, and removing impediments to ensure timely project launches. You are a role model for navigating difficult tradeoffs and are known for your calm and analytical approach to problem-solving.

Desirable

Experience in the education technology sector is a plus, as is familiarity with agile methodologies. You have a track record of driving efficiency improvements across teams and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders sets you apart.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the delivery of strategic, high-impact cross-functional initiatives from conceptualization to launch. You will partner with various functions across the company to ensure communication and alignment, fostering collaboration among teams. You will leverage your technical expertise to develop detailed plans, identify risks, and ensure smooth project launches. You will be responsible for identifying issues impacting delivery efficiency and taking swift action to resolve them. Your role will involve driving decisions when difficult tradeoffs must be made, serving as a calming presence during challenging discussions. You will also mentor junior team members, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them grow.
