Squarespace is seeking an Account Executive for their New Business Acquisition team to drive growth by acquiring new SMB customers. You'll engage in proactive sales efforts and help establish a new sales playbook. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment.
You have a strong background in sales, ideally with experience in acquiring new business and working with small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs). You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy building relationships with clients. Your consultative selling approach allows you to understand business challenges and tailor solutions effectively. You are data-driven and can leverage insights to refine sales strategies. You are excited about being part of a founding team and contributing to the growth of a new sales engine. You possess excellent communication skills and can engage with potential clients through various outreach methods.
As an Account Executive at Squarespace, you will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to demo, negotiation, and closing deals with new SMB customers. You will proactively source new opportunities through personalized outreach and social selling, while also working with inbound leads in collaboration with the marketing team. Your role will involve conducting discovery sessions to deeply understand client needs and challenges, allowing you to tailor Squarespace's solutions to meet their requirements. You will be responsible for maintaining a healthy sales pipeline and driving new business growth through effective relationship management. You will collaborate closely with the Sales Manager, Acquisition, to refine the sales playbook and contribute to the overall strategy of the New Business Acquisition team.
