You have 8+ years of experience in product management or related technical roles, demonstrating a strong ability to think in systems and design for scalability while focusing on business outcomes. Your background includes working on products that have a direct, measurable impact on user growth and engagement, showcasing your understanding of the metrics that matter. You excel in cross-functional collaboration, effectively managing stakeholders across different time zones, and possess excellent communication skills that allow you to balance technical, business, and organizational perspectives. Problem-solving is one of your key strengths, and you have a proven ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data, and industry trends. You are adaptable and excited to work on products that affect millions of people every day, embodying the user-first philosophy that Google champions.
Experience with AI technologies or subscription-based services would be a plus, as would familiarity with payment systems and subscription management platforms. A strong understanding of user experience design principles and the ability to leverage data analytics tools to inform product decisions will set you apart in this role.
In this role, you will own the product strategy for Google One's subscription platform, guiding products from conception to launch while connecting the technical and business worlds. You will work closely with creative engineers, designers, and marketers to design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. Your responsibilities will include defining the roadmap for the platform, ensuring it balances protecting Google from abuse while empowering users to access free trials and AI credits seamlessly. You will lead cross-functional teams to drive product development, focusing on enhancing payment success and subscription management. Your role will involve conducting user research to understand friction points and identifying opportunities for improvement, as well as collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure alignment on product goals and objectives. You will also be responsible for tracking key performance indicators to measure the success of the platform and iterating on the product based on user feedback and market trends.
