Overview

Google is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects in software engineering. Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in program management. Your background includes managing execution of programs that span multiple engineering teams, showcasing your ability to navigate complex project landscapes. You may also hold a Master’s degree or PhD, further enhancing your qualifications in engineering or computer science. Your experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects has equipped you with the skills necessary to lead diverse teams effectively.

You possess a strong understanding of lifecycle management in fast-paced software environments, having built product requirements and managed the product life cycle from start to finish. Your technical judgment allows you to solve software engineering challenges, including bug triage and continuous integration, ensuring that projects are executed smoothly. You are influential within integrated teams, adept at working with both technical and non-technical members, and skilled in managing third-party vendors.

What you'll do

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, and manage project schedules, ensuring that all aspects of the project are aligned with company goals. Your role will involve communicating clearly with cross-functional partners across the organization, fostering collaboration and transparency.
