Overview

Hootsuite is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to drive new business with mid-market customers. You'll navigate sales cycles and present Hootsuite solutions to prospective clients. This role requires strong sales skills and is based in Toronto with hybrid work options.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in acquiring new customers within the mid-market segment. Your experience includes navigating complex sales cycles from initial contact to closing deals, demonstrating your ability to create value for clients. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at building rapport with prospective customers, understanding their unique business challenges, and recommending tailored solutions. You are comfortable working with inbound lead generation teams and have a strong focus on achieving individual quota targets. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to deliver compelling product presentations and demos that resonate with potential clients.

Desirable

Experience in social media management or related industries is a plus, as is familiarity with technical requirements for RFI/RFP processes. You are proactive in seeking market insights and can leverage this information to enhance your sales strategy. A background in recommending third-party partner solutions to meet customer needs will set you apart.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for successfully acquiring new mid-market customers by responding to and actioning internal leads. You will forecast and close new business revenue every month, ensuring that you meet or exceed your sales targets. Your day-to-day activities will involve navigating the sales cycle, from value creation to negotiation and closing, while presenting the value of Hootsuite's solutions to prospective customers. You will partner with pre and post-sales teams to address any roadblocks and objections, ensuring customer success and long-term satisfaction. Additionally, you will complete necessary documentation for supplier technical requirements, contributing to a seamless sales process.
