Senior Technical Analyst

Who you are

You have a strong background in technology analysis and risk management, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. You excel at collaborating with cross-functional teams, including technology, trading, compliance, and risk, to drive projects from inception to completion. Your ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and engineering teams is key to your success in this role. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for identifying patterns and risks in technology operations, enabling you to provide valuable insights to global CTOs. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on operational excellence.

Desirable

Experience with incident management processes and tools is a plus. Familiarity with technology upgrades in trading environments will help you coordinate responses effectively. A background in software development, while not required, would be beneficial for contributing to internal tools and solutions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead critical cross-functional projects that connect technology, trading, compliance, and risk teams. You will facilitate effective meetings with engineering leaders to review incidents and identify necessary improvements, ensuring that technology operations remain efficient and effective. Your insights will help global CTOs achieve operational excellence within the technology function. You will also be responsible for identifying upcoming technology upgrades at exchanges and coordinating Optiver's response to these changes. Your contributions will directly impact the firm's ability to manage technology risks and enhance performance.
