Dataiku is seeking a Director of Employment Law to provide strategic legal guidance on employment matters across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in European employment law and at least 8 years of experience in both law firm and in-house settings.
You have at least 8 years of combined experience in employment law, having worked both in a law firm and in-house at a multinational company. Your strong understanding of European employment laws equips you to manage complex, multi-jurisdictional employment issues effectively. You are skilled in providing pragmatic legal counsel on a broad spectrum of employment matters, including employee relations, hiring, terminations, reorganisations, and workplace policies. Your collaborative nature allows you to work alongside cross-functional teams to address complex employment law issues, ensuring compliance with regulations across EMEA.
Experience with GDPR and collective labour law obligations is a plus, as is familiarity with the tech industry and its unique challenges. You thrive in environments that require strategic thinking and the ability to drive global initiatives while navigating the intricacies of employment law.
In this role, you will be instrumental in providing legal guidance on various employment matters, ensuring that Dataiku remains compliant with employment laws and regulations in the regions it operates.
