Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically in designing and developing electronic circuits and systems. Your strong understanding of engineering processes allows you to create innovative solutions that meet rigorous customer demands. You are skilled in using tools like Altium Designer and have experience with embedded systems, which enables you to contribute effectively to the development of cutting-edge video products. You enjoy mentoring and inspiring junior engineers, fostering their technical growth and ensuring a collaborative team environment.

You are passionate about technology and its application in enhancing public safety and justice. Your ability to connect with diverse perspectives helps you work effectively within cross-functional teams, driving projects forward while maintaining a focus on quality and innovation. Desirable

Experience with low-power design and wireless communication technologies would be a plus. What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design and development of critical electronic circuits for Axon's video products. You will research and propose innovative circuit designs that push the boundaries of technology, ensuring that Axon's products remain at the forefront of the industry. Collaborating globally with cross-functional engineering teams, you will deliver world-class products that meet the needs of law enforcement and public safety agencies.

You will take ownership of the entire design process, from concept through testing and validation, ensuring that all designs meet performance and reliability standards. Your role will involve mentoring junior engineers, providing guidance and support as they develop their skills and contribute to the team's success. You will also participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting research on emerging technologies, developing prototypes, and testing designs to validate performance. You will work closely with product management and other engineering teams to align on product requirements and timelines, ensuring that projects are delivered on schedule.
