You have a strong background in embedded software development, with experience in designing and deploying reliable software for consumer electronic products. Your expertise includes working with languages such as C, C++, and Rust, and you are comfortable navigating Linux environments. You understand real-time embedded software philosophies and practices, and you are skilled in troubleshooting embedded software issues using tools like logic analyzers and schematics. You are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident due to export control requirements.
Experience with large-scale consumer electronic products is a plus, as is familiarity with the satellite communication industry. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and contributing to innovative projects.
As an Embedded Software Dev Engineer, you will be responsible for developing embedded software for terrestrial devices within the Amazon Leo satellite system. You will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and ensuring code/test coverage. Your role will involve designing and implementing software that meets the high standards required for satellite communication devices. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the software integrates seamlessly with hardware components.
