Waymo is seeking a Head of Corporate FP&A to support financial health through planning, budgeting, and performance reporting. This role requires expertise in financial analysis and stakeholder collaboration.
You have extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally with a background in technology or automotive sectors. Your expertise in budgeting and forecasting tools is complemented by your ability to deliver insights that drive business decisions. You are a strong communicator, capable of partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to align financial strategies with corporate goals. You thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility. Your analytical skills enable you to interpret complex financial data and present it in a way that is accessible to non-financial stakeholders.
Experience with financial systems such as SAP ERP and Planning Analytics is a plus. Familiarity with the autonomous driving industry or technology companies will help you understand the unique challenges and opportunities in this space. You are proactive in seeking out improvements in financial processes and tools, ensuring that the FP&A team operates efficiently and effectively.
In this role, you will lead the annual planning process, ensuring that budgets are developed in alignment with Waymo's strategic objectives. You will maintain and enhance budgeting and forecasting tools, acting as the point person for finance system expertise. Your responsibilities will include supporting integrated financial planning and management reporting, providing insights that link corporate strategy to business performance. You will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure that financial planning is aligned with operational needs and strategic goals. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering analysis that informs decision-making at all levels of the organization, helping to drive business execution.
Waymo offers a competitive salary range of $226,000—$286,000 USD, along with eligibility for an annual bonus program and equity incentive plan.
