Amazon is hiring a Data Center Operations Manager to lead a team maintaining cloud infrastructure for global data center operations. You'll leverage your technical expertise and people management skills to drive operational excellence. This role requires experience in strategy creation and team mentorship.
You have a strong background in managing teams within technology environments, particularly in data center operations. Your experience includes creating and implementing strategies that enhance operational efficiency and team performance. You possess a deep technical understanding of cloud infrastructure and are adept at diagnosing hardware and network issues. Mentoring individuals at various levels is something you excel at, and you are passionate about fostering a collaborative team culture. Experience with AWS infrastructure and a background in hardware and network diagnostics will set you apart. Familiarity with on-call rotations and physical repair processes in data centers is a plus.
